Source: Danville Commercial News May 21, 1973 -- The obituary is from a collection by Fauniel Hershberger, saved the 1950's, 60's and 70's. She was a life long resident of Fountain County Indiana.  The collection is now housed at Crawfordsville District Public Library.

JUDYVILLE, Ind. (CNS) - Oral Hines, 64, of Judyville, died at 9:08 p.m. Sunday (May 20, 1973) at Community Hospital in Williamsport. He had been a patient since May 4 and had been ill a year. Born Dec. 7, 1908, in Casey County, Ky., he was the son of George and Nellie Elliot Hines. He was married Sept 13, 1930, at Attica to Frances Gertrude Miller, who died in March of 1972. A resident of Judyville for the past 47 years, he was employed as a finisher in the core room at Harrison Steel Castings Co. at Attica for several years. He retired two years ago. He was a member of the Valley Oak Baptist Church in Kentucky. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. William (Dorothy) Wesley of Luna Pier, Mich., and Mrs. Freeman (Patricia) Bunch of Judyville; a son, Melvin of West Lebanon; his mother of West Lebanon; two sisters, Mrs. Clyde (Maze11a) Swishes of Pine Village and Mrs. Harold (Mary Turnpaugh) of Williamsport Route 3; two brothers, Ezra of Judyville and Ned of Ambia Route 1; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Fisher Funeral Home in Williamsport, with the Rev. Edward Phelps and the Rev. Michael Halquist officiating. Burial will be in West Lebanon Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Tuesday.  --waw
